Many property agents will bring their clients for property visits or site inspection, and they must know the 8 must-do’s before entering the property:
Always ring the bell or knock the door
When visiting a property, agents must knock the door or ring the bell before entering the site. Not only it shows your professionalism and politeness, but it also shows respects to friends from another world.
Do not sit
If the property has been vacant for a long time, agents should remind her/his customers not to sit on chairs and beds in the house.
Comments in site inspection
It’s okay for customers to be judgmental about the flats, but for property agents, please keep your comments neutrally, especially when you are alone in the flat.
Show respect to God Altar Cabinet
If there is any God Altar Cabinet or ancestry pictures in the property, the agents should bow in front to show his/her respect.
Resume to the original position
After finishing property visits, the agents should turn off all the lights and resume the property as its original position.
Turn on light all at once
When entering the house, if the day light is not enough, the agent should turn on the lights all at once, in order to avoid the switches to be on-and-off at all times.
Avoid solar or moon eclipse
Please check the calendar upon property visits. Solar or moon eclipses should be avoided for site visits due to the effects of negative energy “chi“.
Visit property with death history
The so-called “haunted house” property may bring awkward feeling to the agents. If that happens to you, you may use a lighter to tickle the bottom of your shoes in order to purify yourself. If you still do not feel comfortable, you may take a shower with pomelo leaves to wash away the “dirtiness”.
